Also look for gaps around pipes and wires, foundation seals, and mail slots. Check to see if the caulking and weather stripping are applied properly, leaving no gaps or cracks, and are in good condition. Check the exterior caulking around doors and windows, and see whether exterior storm doors and primary doors seal tightly.
What's TouchFlo 3D? I have two ways of thinking about it. One, it's kind of like another operating system layered on top of the Windows Mobile operating system. Or you can think of it as a theme, but a theme that's hopped up on steroids. Regardless of your thinking, with the slider closed and the phone in portrait mode, TouchFlo 3D delivers a good looking homescreen experience that delivers your basic smartphone functions in a non-standard Windows Mobile way. You can preview emails, browse your media, listen to music, launch apps, adjust basic settings, check the weather, etc. all within the TouchFlo 3d interface. Then when it comes time to "do more" (such as view your whole email inbox), with a tap you're back into the familiar Windows Mobile OS.
CRACK HTC Home Weather Clock
As for what I like? The look!! Gotta love that animated weather app! And as you can tell from the pictures, just like in the BlackBerry space where we have a thriving theme developer community, it looks like the same is the case for Windows Mobile themes. WMExperts.com pointed me to the FuzeBerry theme you see pictured in this review, which helped provide some of the comforts of home. Though I gotta say, this developer has never actually used a BlackBerry before as his icon selection is completely out of whack in some cases. Example - he used the Word Mole icon to represent Contacts, the BBM icon to represent Messages, and the Application Center icon to represent settings. WTF?!
You can now access Google's slick Weather app without having to first open the Google or News & Weather apps. However, you will have to use Google to access the weather the old-fashioned way one more time, but you'll have the option to place a shortcut on your home screen to access the weather directly going forth.
Open up the Google app or trigger your Google Assistant by long-pressing the home button, then either say "OK Google" or press the microphone icon to activate voice search (if it's not already listening). Then, say something along the lines of "Show me the weather" or "What's the weather like in [specific area]," etc. You can also just type "weather" into the search bar, but c'mon, that's kind of boring.
Does anyone know what is the frequency of updates on the weather information in widget? Also, for me, the weather information seem to randomly disappear from the homepage so I have to search for "weather" in the Google app for the info to appear again. Is there a permanent solution to this?
1Weather is a release that I've spent a lot of time with over the years and was my primary weather app for a time. While I've had some issues with inaccurate reporting, this is not an issue across the board, so like all weather apps, you have to decide which offers the most accurate info for your area. When it comes to 1Weather's widgets, there are 12 in total, and they range from 1x1, 2x1, 2x3, 2x4, 3x4, 5x1, 5x2, and 5x3. Of course, the majority displays your current weather temp and conditions, though if you delve into the rest, you'll see that flip clocks, extended weather reports, not to mention the date, are all present in one form or another. Hands down 1Weather has some of the best weather widgets currently, though the app's accuracy can be hit or miss when compared to the competition.
Of course you can also swipe your finger anywhere across the screen to jump to the home screen. You have five home screens to choose from; you can personalize each with apps and widgets. By default the main screen features HTC's iconic weather clock widget along with shortcuts for Verizon Voice Mail, Google Play store, and browser. As with Android handsets running 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and later, you can also drop app icons on top of each other to create custom folders. I find it a handy way to cut down on home screen clutter.
While Android system updates will still be a problem, HTC has offloaded a lot of its skin onto the Play Store where it ought to be easier to update. HTC's home screen, account infrastructure, voice assistant, mail client, clock app, help app, and camera are all updatable via the Play Store. There's also an "HTC Service Pack" app, which seems to contain odds and ends from the rest of the skin.
Plastic shrinkage cracks appear in the first few hours after concrete placement and typically before the finishing operations are complete. As the name implies, this form of cracking occurs when the concrete is still plastic and caused by surface shrinkage of the concrete. Occurring primarily in concrete flatwork, these cracks can also occur on other exposed, horizontal surfaces including beams, foundations, and tops of walls. Plastic shrinkage cracking is commonly associated with hot weather concreting but can occur at other times including periods of cold weather or whenever the surface concrete dries and shrinks because of rapid moisture loss.
Most rugged phones are more affordable than flagship phones, as they are not outfitted with high-end cameras and other advanced technology. Given their price and utility, these options are great to designate as work or outdoor adventure phones, and they can withstand inclement winter weather. Plus, you can keep a flagship at home to pop your SIM card into when you want the latest and greatest in mobile technology.
Weather & CLock Widget is a fairly popular and fairly powerful clock and weather widget. The app includes a variety of widgets, including some decently deep customization options. Additionally, it functions well as a standalone weather app with a daily, hourly, and 10-day forecast along with some other weather data. Some folks seem to have trouble with the weather app portion of it updating itself, but those issues are usually temporary. In any case, these are seriously good widgets even if the weather part is a bit finicky on occasion.
