While Pro Block Gap Outline is a one-color font, the gap outline allows for two-application. The inner number of the gap outline font is the same size as Pro Block Pre-Cut Numbers. So you can use one color of outline with another color pre-cut number (or the inner number from a different Pre-Spaced number). Notice the angle at the top of the 7, the low 4, the curve at the top of the one and the general thickness. I'm thinking somewhere out there there has to be some sort of bold block font like this right? If it's out there or something similar would anyone know of the name?
Those numbers are Stahls Varsity Block font that's been around forever. Note the middle bar of the "2" is on a diagonal. The "4," however is Stahls Pro Block style (sans serif). Back in the day a local dealer often sold and lettered the uniforms of the pro team they sold. I remember when my company did the Rochester Americans uniforms.
